The Magicard Rio Pro is a professional ID card printer, designed to handle all volumes of card throughput. With a 100 card feed hopper and a 70 card output stacker the Rio Pro can print a full colour card in 23 seconds, and a monochrome card in 6 seconds, making it among the fastest desktop ID card printers available. Cards can also be fed in singly for one-off prints if required. The Microsoft-Certified Plug & Play Driver makes installation and printer use easy. The Magicard Rio Pro can be upgraded from single-sided to double-sided printing using a simple in-field upgrade kit – see Magicard Printer Accessories.

Optional security text water mark can be incorporated across the face of
the card if required using the Magicard Holokote Key system:

• HoloKote® Key – A standard anti-counterfeiting water mark printed in a grid pattern across the entire card surface.
• Custom HoloKote® – A custom anti-counterfeiting watermark printed in a grid pattern across the entire card surface.
• Custom HoloKote Flex™ – A truly flexible and custom anti-counterfeiting watermark printed across the entire card surface.

For added security the above systems can be used with HoloPatch® cards. HoloPatch® cards have a highly reflective gold ‘super diffuser’ foil square that enhances the visibility of the overprinted HoloKote® logo.
The (optional) Rio Custom Holokote Key can be specified with a print control function to enable printing only when Key is present.
